The front panel adds four USB 3.0 ports to the front of desktop cases. This lets you connect storage media, adapters, and other peripherals quickly without having to access the rear ports. Installation in the 3.5 inch front bay and the internal connection via the 19-pin USB 3.0 header and the SATA power connector are straightforward.
