The adapter connects a 9-pin SubD socket to an RJ45 socket and enables serial connections over RJ45 cables. The pins of the SubD socket can be freely assigned, allowing you to replicate existing pinouts exactly or adapt them flexibly. The metallized plastic housing is robust.
