The waterproof RJ45 coupler of the Cat.6A category connects two patch cables 1:1 and enables data rates up to 10 Gb/s. The shielded design supports low-interference signal transmission. Standard RJ45 patch cables can be used directly; M23 x 1.5 mm threads on both sides and the receptacle for 3-8 mm cables facilitate secure fastening. A contact resistance < 10 mOhm supports reliable contacts.
In professional IT environments, for on-site installations and in service deployments, the coupler provides a reliable solution for outdoor installations and connections in exposed areas. It integrates into existing infrastructures of companies and public institutions when links need to be extended without new cabling and permanently protected coupling is required.
