With this DVI-USB KVM extender, you relocate monitor, mouse, keyboard and audio up to 50 m away from the computer. Transmission of video, USB and stereo audio is via two Cat.5e/Cat.6/Cat.6A cables. EDID support facilitates correct display detection, HDCP compatibility allows use with protected content, and the adjustable EQ compensation helps adapt image quality to the cable length. Resolutions up to 1920x1200 and 1080p at 40 m as well as 1080i at 50 m are supported.
In professional IT environments and existing infrastructures, use the extension over structured cabling when DVI workstations need to be separated spatially, for example in offices, control rooms, training or meeting rooms. For on-site installations and service deployments, use two Cat.5e/Cat.6/Cat.6A cables to position the console as required.
