The InLine Gigabit PCIe network card adds an additional RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port to compatible systems via PCI Express. The card supports network connections at 10/100/1000 Mbps and is suitable for stable wired network connections in various system environments.

The Broadcom BCM5721 NetXtreme chipset supports reliable data transfers as well as features such as Wake-on-LAN, VLAN according to IEEE 802.1Q and Jumbo Frames up to 9K. Additionally, TCP/IP offload, checksum offload and interrupt coalescing can help reduce the load on the processor, depending on the system configuration.

Thanks to the PCIe x1 interface, the network card is suitable for retrofitting compatible desktop PCs, compact systems and industrial PCs. The included low-profile slot bracket also supports installation in space-saving enclosures.

The integrated LEDs on the RJ45 port directly indicate the connection status and network activity. Various versions of Windows are supported, as well as Linux from kernel 2.2 onwards.

LED behaviour on the port
