4K video unchanged, flexible audio output
- 4K video without downscaling: Simultaneous HDMI output up to 4K2K@60 Hz while audio is output separately.
- Flexible audio output: Extracts HDMI audio as optical S/PDIF or analog multichannel audio (up to 7.1, up to 4 x 3.5 mm).
- Audio usable without a TV: Analog and optical outputs work without an active HDMI display.
- Compatible integration: Audio EDID switch (LPCM 7.1CH/TV-EDID/Bitstream) and CEC facilitate integration.
- High audio resolution: HDMI and S/PDIF sampling rates up to 192 kHz.
The HDMI audio extractor separates the audio signal of an HDMI input and converts it into optical S/PDIF or analog multichannel output. At the same time the HDMI video output up to 4K2K@60 Hz is maintained, allowing you to position or upgrade video and audio flexibly, for example with active speakers or AV receivers. For 4K playback, a suitable source, display, and HDMI cables are required.
It proves itself in professional IT environments, on-site installations, and service deployments when displays do not provide audio or when audio paths need to be extended. The device integrates into existing infrastructures of companies and public institutions and supports a clear separation of video and audio paths.
