This media converter connects 10/100/1000Base-T to fiber via an SFP module (LC Duplex) and enables fiber links up to 20 km on Singlemode at 1310 nm. This allows you to connect remote segments or buildings without changing the existing copper cabling. Automatic negotiation of speed and duplex as well as Auto MDI/MDI-X facilitate quick, reliable deployment.
In professional IT environments and on-site deployments, the solution provides stable uplinks between distribution points, floors, or locations. In existing infrastructures of companies and public institutions, the compact converter can be used in a space-saving manner in desktop environments and supports efficient service deployments.
