InLine® Null Modem Adapter DB9 Pin male / female
Serial point-to-point connection without modem and rewiring
- Direct PC-to-PC communication: Crossed pinout enables the serial connection without a modem.
- Use existing cables: Plugs onto a serial cable and connects to the second device.
- Tool-free and fast: 9-pin Sub-D socket and 9-pin Sub-D plug for immediate coupling.
- Defined signal routing: Null modem pinout prevents swapping of transmit and control lines.
The null modem adapter connects two serial interfaces via an existing cable by crossing transmit and receive lines as well as relevant control lines. This creates a stable point-to-point connection between two PCs or serial devices without additional setup effort.
It proves itself in professional IT environments, in on-site deployments and in service use, especially when existing infrastructures in companies and public institutions are being expanded or tested.
