The InLineĀ® USB-A terminal block adapter offers a practical solution for transferring USB-2.0 signals to a 5-pin terminal block without soldering or cable connection. Typical applications can be found in the areas of service, test setups, development, or prototyping.
The standard-size USB-A socket is directly connected to a 5-pin screw terminal block. The clear labeling of the terminals ā 1: Ground (ā), 2: D+, 3: Dā, 4: Voltage (+), 5: Shield (S) ā enables easy and reliable signal assignment. The terminal connections with a 5.0 mm grid dimension support single wires in the 16ā26 AWG range.
Wiring is carried out with the aid of a flat-head screwdriver. Thanks to its compact housing, the adapter is particularly space-saving ā e.g. in test equipment, mobile measuring stations, or in laboratories.
