Gold-plated contacts
The gold-plated plugs improve the conductivity, durability and corrosion resistance of the InLine HDMI cable. The risk of oxidation or corrosion is significantly reduced. This increases the long-term reliability of the connection, e.g. even in environments with higher humidity. Gold-plated contacts adapt better to the connections and are less susceptible to abrasion and damage when plugging and unplugging. In addition, the higher conductivity can improve signal transmission and therefore picture and sound quality, especially over longer cable runs.

AOC
The InLine AOC HDMI cable is an active optical cable (AOC), i.e. it combines copper cables with fibre optic strands and thus combines the advantages of both transmission technologies. This reliable and high-performance solution is particularly suitable for high-quality audio and video transmissions over long distances and in demanding environments, e.g. for conference technology or digital signage. Thanks to the optical fibres inside the cable, the InLine AOC cable can bridge longer distances with less weight and greater flexibility without loss. This makes handling and installation easier compared to pure, often rigid copper cables. In addition, such a connection is less susceptible to electromagnetic interference.
Compared to pure fibre optic cables, the InLine AOC cable is more robust and less susceptible to damage. In addition, no external power supply is required to convert the light signal into an electrical signal. This means that the InLine AOC cable is often more compatible with HDMI devices than purely optical cables. The active electronic components can also additionally amplify the signal and improve transmission properties.

- One side of HDMI plug is angled
This InLine HDMI cable with specification 1.4 supports 3D content and also has an Ethernet channel and an audio return channel. The audio return channel (ARC) transmits audio signals from the TV to the AV receiver, for example. This allows a speaker system to be integrated into the multimedia setup without additional cables. The Ethernet channel enables network connections between HDMI devices. Significantly higher resolutions than Full HD up to 4kx2k (@30Hz) are supported up to a distance of 5m. (only applies to the flat cable version).
If your 4k HDMI devices or their connections only support a bandwidth of 4k@30Hz, the InLine HDMI cable is suitable for connecting these components. Especially for 4k applications with a low refresh rate such as normal film playback, image editing, presentations and general work on the computer, this bandwidth is sufficient.
Home cinema: The cable is particularly suitable for connecting HDMI components to a 3D home cinema system or AV receiver. Enjoy clear sound with low latency and high resolutions in 4k@30Hz or HD quality.
Streaming: If you stream content from streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video or Disney+ in Full HD or watch it on a Full HD TV, you can use this cable to connect streaming players such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV or Chromecast.
Gaming consoles: For older gaming consoles with a resolution of only 1080p, this cable supports a smoother gaming experience due to the higher frame rate of 60 frames per second. Examples of older games consoles include Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
Playback devices: Full HD and / or 3D televisions, projectors or monitors as well as corresponding first-generation 4k devices (4k@30Hz).
Other output devices: Full HD or 4k@30Hz notebooks, PCs, AV receivers, Blu-ray players and set-top boxes for cable TV or satellite services.
Angled
The InLine HDMI cable with angled plug improves the performance and durability of cable connections in many situations. It reduces cable stress, saves space and improves strain relief. This makes it a practical and versatile solution for various cable routing requirements. The angled connector of the InLine HDMI cable allows the cable to run closer to the wall or other obstacles in tight or confined areas, such as behind furniture or in narrow rooms, without having to bend, kink or crush the cable. This saves space, makes the installation more flexible and reduces cable stress. This extends the service life and protects against wear and damage, especially to the connectors. The InLine HDMI cable can, for example, be conveniently and ergonomically connected to televisions that are mounted particularly close to the wall.

Special types of HDMI cables
Distribution of HDMI signals
HDMI distributors utilise four different transmission principles when splitting signals:
- HDMI splitters route a source signal to several receivers. They work without any loss of quality. HDMI splitters are used at large events, for example, to show a film on several LCD walls at the same time.
- Several source signals are connected to an HDMI switch, one of which is forwarded to a receiver. One application example is a television with only one HDMI connection. The switch can be used to connect a games console, a set-top box and a Blu-ray player, for example, and activate them at the touch of a button.
- The HDMI switch/splitter picks up several source signals, multiplies a selected one and forwards it to several monitors. The device thus combines the functions of simple switches and splitters. This technology makes work much easier in conference calls or training scenarios.
- the HDMI matrix extends the functional principle of the switch/splitter. It gives the user complete freedom in the distribution of signals. Different sources are available simultaneously on different output devices. For example, the LED TV can show a Blu-ray disc while simultaneously routing the signal from the games console to the projector
