Quick Charge (often abbreviated as QC) is a fast charging technology developed by Qualcomm to shorten the charging time of devices such as smartphones, tablets and other devices with compatible batteries.
Features of Quick Charge
- Faster charging time: devices can be significantly charged in a short time (e.g. 50 % in 15-30 minutes, depending on the version).
- Backwards compatibility: Quick Charge chargers also work with devices that do not support this technology, but charge them at normal speed.
