The InLine® LWL Keystone Snap-in connector is used to connect 2 fiber cables with SC connectors. The snap-in design (also called Keystone) allows installation in corresponding patch panels, wall sockets, floor tank sockets, etc.
This fibre optic coupler is suitable for PC, UPC and APC connectors. The prerequisite is that the same polish is used on both sides (PC to PC, UPC to UPC or APC to APC).
A combination of different polish types (e.g. APC to UPC or PC) is not possible.
The coupler has a neutral ceramic sleeve; the polish or polish angle is not defined in the coupler itself. A green (APC-coloured) version would be technically identical.
